We are thankful to all scholars for sending in their abstracts. We understand that often last-minute changes and information disrupt thought and action. Hard copies were delivered beyond the deadline of 28th December. Soft copies are received from institutional mail address with no contact detail of the writer. A few contributors  may not be able to see inclusion of their papers in final schedule because of crucial deadlines. To accommodate all enthusiasts and scholars, the sessions would be open to pre-registered Observers. The paper-contributors who miss out on inclusion of their papers may join as Observers.

We are sending input for format compliance through mail to them.

The contributors would bolster our endeavor to  provide a window to contemporary music scholarship by using tools for web presentation. Notations can be easily typed in through qwerty keyboard using Ome Swarlipi at Omescribe.

A compendium of primary Raga-s is being created through regular tweets sent from @ragaswar. Each tweet restricted by 140 character limit, gives QWERTY keystrokes and resultant Ome Swarlipi notation of Aaroh & Avaroh of the raga:

Thank you for the mail. We have got just 200 words for abstract! Points you suggested are really essential but its difficult to write all those things within the word limit. I thought I’ll include all the points in the paper! Can I cross the word barrier?

It is not advisable to cross word-limit.
Abstract is for purpose of reporting the objective of paper.
The paper itself should be lucid and succinct.
The abstract is examined for evaluation of paper in advance.
The suggestions sent to scholars are for creation of relevant, competent paper  where it appears otherwise.
If the scope of paper is well-contained, 200 words are sufficient to highlight objective, methodology and likely result.
Organize thought. Plan an achievable argument. Arrange material and augment it with evidence in support.
